The policy also applies to Guests, i.e., Visitors who are not registered Customers but who make purchases in our Store but do not register an account.

The Website also uses functionalities similar to cookies. Therefore, the provisions of the Cookie Policy below should also apply to these technologies.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are IT data, particularly small text files, stored on users' end devices, such as computers, tablets, or mobile phones, which can be read by our IT system (first-party cookies) or third-party IT systems (third-party cookies). These files allow us to recognize the user's device and properly display the website to suit their individual preferences. They also enable the website to be displayed in the user's preferred language, as well as to utilize other website settings selected by the user. Cookies typically contain the name of the website they originate from, the duration of their storage on the end device, and a unique number.

A pixel is a piece of software code that allows you to track website visitors and their behavior on web pages where the pixel is placed. This can range from basic tracking of whether a person has visited a website to detailed tracking of actions such as adding a product to a shopping cart, selecting a product, submitting a form, etc. The pixel may send the collected information to a third party, i.e., the code provider.

We use cookies and other internet technologies to:

  1. ensuring the operation, security and reliability of our Website;
  2. Customizing the content of the Website to the preferences of the Customer or Visitor and optimizing the use of the Website. Yes, selected cookies may, in some situations, process your personal data. Personal data originating from cookies or similar technologies on our website is processed for the purposes of ensuring the website's functionality, customizing the website to the preferences of visitors and customers, and for analytical purposes. Processing is based on our legitimate interest. We would like to point out that the legal basis for processing personal data for advertising and statistical purposes will always be your additional and express consent, expressed by making a selection and checking the checkbox during the cookie consent process.

When a Visitor or Customer uses the Online Store, cookies are used to identify their browser or device. Cookies collect various types of information that, as a rule, do not constitute personal data. However, some information, depending on its content and use, may be linked to a specific person—attributing certain behaviors to a specific Visitor or Customer, for example, by linking it to data provided during Account registration in the Online Store or a specific email address—and thus be considered personal data.

5. If cookies process personal data, does the Privacy Policy apply?

Yes, in relation to information collected by cookies that may be associated with a specific person, the provisions of the Online Store's Privacy Policy relating to personal data apply, in particular those relating to the rights of the data subject.

7. Can I change my mind regarding the use of cookies?

Of course, yes. If you have consented to our use of cookies, you may change your mind at any time and not consent to their use in the future. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Yes. Thanks to cookies used in the Online Store, the Administrator can learn about Visitor preferences—for example, by analyzing how often they visit the Online Store and whether and which products they purchase. Profiling applies particularly to logged-in users, i.e., Customers. Analyzing online behavior helps us better understand your habits and expectations and adapt to your needs and interests.

Based on cookies, the Administrator also uses technology that allows advertising messages to reach Visitors who have previously visited the Online Store when they use other websites, using the Google Ads tool.

13. What specific cookies, pixels and IT tools do we use?

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited (registered number: 368047), with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This allows us to create statistics and analyses to improve the Website's performance. Google Analytics automatically collects information about the use of our Website. Importantly, we have IP anonymization enabled. Therefore, Google does not receive any personal data from us that could be based on IP addresses combined with other data about Visitors or Customers. As part of Google Analytics, we collect demographic data and interest data. The collected information, although not personally identifiable, is typically transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

As part of Google Analytics on our Website, we also use subordinate services such as Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.
If you are interested in details related to data processing within Google Analytics, we encourage you to read the document prepared by Google: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

Google Ads (formerly Google Adwords) – conversion and remarketing.
We use Google Ads, a tool provided by Google Ireland Limited (registered number: 368047), with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This allows us to draw attention to our content and offers through advertising materials on external websites. We analyze data from advertising campaigns to optimize advertising activities. Advertising materials are delivered by Google using so-called "Ad Servers." For this purpose, we use server cookies, which can be used to measure certain parameters for measuring audience success, such as ad placement or user clicks. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads stores a cookie on your device. For these cookies, the following information is typically stored for analytics purposes: a unique cookie ID, the number of impressions per ad placement (frequency), the last impression (relevant for conversions after an impression), and an opt-out information (indicating that a user does not wish to be included in further advertising). Cookies allow Google to recognize your web browser. We do not collect or process any personal data based on the aforementioned advertising measures. We do not obtain any other data, and we cannot identify users based on the information obtained. Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a connection to the Google server. Even if you are not registered with any Google services or are not logged in, it is possible that network providers may obtain and store your IP address.

We also use the Google Ads remarketing tool, which allows us to present our website users with interest-based ads from other websites within the Google Display Network. For this purpose, Google stores cookies in the browsers of users who visit certain Google services or websites in the Google Display Network to uniquely identify the browser on a specific device. We encourage you to review the GDPR and Google Ads documentation: https://ads.google.com/intl/pl_pl/home/faq/gdpr/.

Facebook
We also use marketing tools provided by Meta Platforms Ireland, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). These tools target Facebook ads at you. We do this based on our legitimate interest in marketing our own products.

To target you with personalized ads based on your behavior on our Site, we use Facebook Pixel, which automatically collects information about your use of our Site, including the pages you browse. We do not share personal data. The information collected by Facebook Pixel is anonymous, meaning it does not allow us to identify you. It only allows us to understand what actions have been taken on our Site. However, please note that Facebook may combine this information with other information about you collected through your use of Facebook and use it for its own purposes, including marketing. Currently, Facebook Pixel also interacts with data from Instagram. We no longer control such Facebook activities, and you can find information about them directly in Facebook's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy. You can also manage your privacy settings from your Facebook account.

Hotjar
Our website uses solutions provided by Hotjar Ltd., Level 2, St Julian's Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julian's STJ 1000, Malta. Hotjar allows us to analyze the behavior of users visiting our website. Hotjar collects information about how users use the website, which is generated using a tracking code and cookies, which are then transmitted and stored on Hotjar servers. The Hotjar tracking code may collect the following categories of information: the device's IP address (but in an encrypted manner that prevents user identification), the user's email address and name, the device type and its parameters, and the browser type, and the location (only the name of the country from which the connection was made). We use the collected data to analyze and develop our website. Cookies used by Hotjar have varying durations – some expire after 365 days (persistent cookies), some immediately after the end of the session (session cookies). Hotjar also ensures the functioning of push notifications.

14. How long do we store cookies containing personal data?

Depending on the type, purpose and legal basis of cookie processing, the storage period of cookies ranges from 1 session to 2 years.

Cookies we collect containing personal data from Visitors who are not Customers will be stored until an objection is filed. The Administrator may delete Personal Data if it is not used for marketing purposes for two years, unless legal provisions require the Administrator to process personal data longer.

Some personal data may be stored longer in the event that the Visitor has any claims against the Controller or for the Controller to pursue claims or defend against claims (including those of third parties), for the limitation period specified by law, in particular the Civil Code.
In each case, the longer period for storing Personal Data shall prevail.

15. Which social media tools do we use?

Our Website uses plug-ins and other social media tools provided by social networking sites such as Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

When you display a website containing such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the social media administrators (service providers). The plugin's content is transferred directly to your browser by the service provider and integrated into the website. This integration informs the service providers that your browser has viewed our website, even if you do not have a profile with the service provider or are not currently logged in. This information (along with your IP address) is sent directly by your browser to the service provider's server and stored there.

If you have logged in to one of the social networking sites, this service provider will be able to directly assign your visit to our Website to your profile on the given social networking site.

The purpose and scope of data collection and their further processing and use by service providers, including the possibility of contact and your rights in this regard and the possibility of making settings to protect your privacy, are described in the privacy policies of individual service providers.
